A leading fintech brand, a global multi-asset investing platform, started working with us at the start of 2020. Our link building programme helped take its monthly organic traffic from 2.2 million to 4.7 million between March 2021 and January 2022, a 113% increase year on year, as the brand added $21 million in revenue in 8 months. In 2025 we scaled the same approach into a multilingual digital PR programme across 7 markets.

Phase 1 traffic figures come from the client’s SEO dashboard (March 2021 - January 2022). 2025 organic traffic and Authority Score are measured with Semrush. Individual results vary.
The brand wanted steady organic growth from the audiences most likely to convert, not more unqualified traffic. Like many financial brands, it had seen link building budgets wasted on low-quality content, irrelevant websites and links that disappeared within months.
By 2025 it also needed to:
We started from the brand's most profitable customers and markets, then used Semrush, Ahrefs and Majestic to map where competitors published and which websites could support the target keywords, checking metrics such as DA, TF, DR, keywords and traffic.
We planned a content calendar around the target keywords, landing pages and focus markets, timed to economic events and trending stories, and wrote for people rather than for keywords.
Articles went live on websites chosen for relevance to the audience, with strong visuals, clean formatting, internal links and do-follow links. We tracked referral traffic with UTMs and Google Analytics and monitored every link so it stayed live.
We mapped target outlets by tier (Tier-1 national finance and business titles, Tier-2 sector sites, Tier-3 niche and local finance sites) for each of the 7 markets, and agreed monthly targets.
We built angles around market trends, investor behaviour and expert commentary, adapted to each market rather than translated.
We used AI tools to speed up research and first drafts. Every article was written, edited and fact-checked by our team and approved by the client, with 100% human review. Production time for a batch of 30-50 articles fell from about 7 days to about 2.
Content followed the client's approval process. Where publishers required it, licensing was arranged so content could run in the UAE and France.
Every placement was reported with its outlet, tier, market and placement type (earned, contributed or sponsored).
| Market | Tier-1 placements |
|---|---|
| United States | 16 |
| Spain | 11 |
| Italy | 8 |
| Germany | 5 |
| United Kingdom | 3 |
| UAE | 3 |
| Romania | 1 |
| Total | 47 |
Selected outlets: Yahoo Finance, Benzinga, Investing.com, Finextra and FXStreet, alongside leading national finance and business titles in each market.
Only sponsored placements can be guaranteed, because the space is paid for. They are labelled by the publisher and their links are marked rel="sponsored". Earned coverage can’t be guaranteed, because editors decide what to publish. In this campaign, as in all our work, the client saw the placement type of every link.
Many financial brands prefer not to disclose their agencies. We share the results with permission and keep the name confidential.
We track referral traffic and conversions with UTMs and Google Analytics, monitor every link after it goes live, and report organic traffic and authority with tools such as Semrush.
Results depend on your starting point, markets and budget. A free Visibility Snapshot shows where you stand against 3 competitors and what a realistic plan looks like.
